Changes in Department after Matriculation
Mon, 08/27/2007 - 16:29 — dale
Students interested in switching departments must complete one semester of registration in the department into which they were originally accepted before the request is considered. A brief personal statement must be prepared and should be geared towards the department to which they wish to enter. Along with this personal statement, the "Change of Department and/or Advisor" form, available from the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), needs to be completed and approved by the student's original department. Submit these items to the OSA and they will forward the request for review to the admissions committee. OSA will inform the student of the admissions committee decision.
